Rebranding The Traditional Saudi/Yemeni Restaurants
Abu Helal, a chain of traditional restaurants, was established in 1994 to be the destination for lovers of popular Yemeni and Saudi food. It is characterized by several dishes, mainly known for its Mutabaq, Arika, and Maasoub.
YaStudio rebranded this restaurant in a way that combines traditional and modern design to give the brand its authenticity while also targeting youth as well as the aged audience. The homemade well-balanced logo highlights the Arabic letter "Haa" which is defined as one of the most beautiful Arabic letters, and of course, the letter "H". The whole logo has been created to look traditional, and portray heritage and legacy.
Red and warm colors keep the rationality; while the secondary colors - which are inspired by Yemeni elements - are chosen to add some taste to the brand’s applications.
